"Non-stop worship??!!" Well, that idea I woke me overwhelmed!
OK, just stop, take a breath, rest in Him and listen......"embrace what God does for you." In truth, praising and worshiping Him as a backdrop throughout the day creates a tantalizing background melody which bathes us in His amazing sweet love! To my family I said that I feel so 'at peace' here in Guam. The oft felt low level "stomach knot" seemed to unwind the minute I stepped off the plane. Joe Collins remarked that I seemed to bring "joy" with me??!!. Me??
Wow, God, really?? Wow!
The truth-- when we do place it all before Him as an offering....not much else matters so very much. Its there but it doesn't drown out His song.
I have been delighted by the blessings in the opportunities this week: joining in campus praise, prayer and worship; meetings with Dave, or Daisy and Pete from student life; working on the graduate seminary counseling curriculum; planning for the March trip to Yap; developing a presentation on "narrative therapy" for the Storytelling conference. The pure joy of simply babysitting the kids, engaging with Joe and/or Lisa on endless topics (oh the pure enjoyment of being able to disagree with respect!!) or just spending some goofy "girl" time......I am sooo glad He graced us with the ability to laugh!!! To Him all glory and praise!
